An IT girl, may cross about two of those off,  Alexa Chung has managed to cross all and more off.
From the frank, giggly tv personality that hit our screens on Popworld, Chung has evolved into a
successful social media & fashion power house.

With a miriad of accomplishments under her belt, such as winning the British Style Award at the British Fashion awards 3 years in a row, a collaboration with AG Jeans, AC for AG Jeans, (she even venture into the world of music for this) being the face of Longchamp  and most recently launching her own Fashion App, Villoid, Chung has garnered friends in all walks of life, from Karl Lagerfeld to Harry Styles.

For someone who has spawned many styles over the past 8 years and with all the above behind her, how could you not jump at the chance to meet her?

*DISCLAIMER: At the time of meeting her I was NOT blogging, but inspiration comes from the strangest places*

As the face and ambassador of Nails Inc along with her own collection of colours, Alexa Chung arrived at Harvey Nichol's beauty Bazaar to spread christmas cheer with Nails Inc's festive product, 'Snowglobe.'

After arriving in style, to the tune of Tina Turner's Proud Mary, people were meandering throughout the shop to await  Miss Chung. The queue could make your heels cry, but there was a steady stream of gingerbread treats and White Russian cocktails, that sparkled gold just like the nail varnish, and a feel good soundtrack to get you through. It was a party like affair.

Before getting your spot in the queue, you were directed towards the products of Nails Inc. where you could gaze on all they had to offer to your hearts content. There were two options of purchase for the meet 'n' greet. You could either buy 'Snowglobe' itself for £15 pound OR you could buy a box of 3 shades, one, being 'Snowglobe' and two others of your choice for £35. Both make fabulous stocking fillers.

With the box option you could customise your nail varnishes with a personal anagram of your initials and either Happy Christmas or Happy Birthday.

I opted for the box and chose nailKale in Victoria and one from the Alice & Olivia collection in Next to Nothing, it was just after my birthday and for that price it really was a Christmas cheer.

Snowglobe itself can be applied in two ways. Firstly, you shake it up so it gives the affect of its namesake and then apply to create the glitteriest of golden nails, or leave it settled for when you just want that touch of sparkle over another colour. It's really up to you. Nails Inc, gives you a pretty detailed how to on getting the ultimate festive look here.

Once you purchased your product, Alexa could customise it for you with her own scribble. (I brought her book IT with me to get signed instead, shh!)

It was a lot more interactive and charming than previous meet and greets i've been to, Alexa took the time to listen and chat to everyone, giving thoughtful advice and answers to each. It was pretty refreshing in all honesty and much kudos to her for being so lovely.

Yes, I look a bit like a foot here but there was something about meeting Alexa, maybe it was her sincerity in when she spoke, or her ability to keep up a smile for so long, which really enforced that she is anything but an IT girl.
