Everisland Presents : PATRICK WOLF Acoustic Show in Liverpool, 7th February @ Epstein Theatre

21:12

Yes, that would be correct, Patrick Wolf is coming to Liverpool. Organised by the fabulous Everisland Presents, who have  put on amazing shows in The Kazimier and Kazimier gardens such as Rural Disco and the fantastic summer Kazimier Garden Gathering, this is sure to be a delight.

If you're not sure who Patrick Wolf is, or never listened to him go do so now and have your world enlightened. Think a happier Morrissey with more strings and 80's synth you can shake your rhythm stick at  whilst running through the woods (that's how he makes me feel anyway). The link is in the name and a video at the bottom for you to decide, you have no excuses!!

I think I'll leave it to Everisland to tell you why you need to go :

'Everisland are incredibly excited to launch our 2013 programme with the remarkable Patrick Wolf.

Together with The Hope Street Agency, we’ll be bringing you an innovative artist who crafts divinely dark and twisted electronic-folk, whilst retaining an unencumbered virtuosity. Celebrating his 10th anniversary worldwide tour, Patrick will delve into his extensive back catalogue, spanning six albums, to deliver an evening of his most breathtaking and acclaimed work.

His latest release, ‘Sundark and Riverlight’, foregoes the conventional ‘Best Of’ format by sparking new life into existing masterpieces through delicate orchestral finesse. So join us for this unique evening to witness the enigmatic maestro for what promises to be an ever-evolving and constantly engaging spectacle.

If you're ever in Liverpool and see a poster with Everisland on it, go to it, trust me, you'll be taken to a narnia-esque place and forget about the stresses of daily life,  if only for a few sweet hours.
